Below is a pic of the foam model I carved and wrapped with a bandage.

This is one of those projects that requires a little real-world creativity. An Australian airport contacted me wanting advertising images that depicted the various services available at the airport. They had the layouts and I created the images to match. This one represents the hospital they have located on-site. The background clouds are a stock shot, while the plane is 3D. The tricky part was the bandages. 3D doesn't do certain things with any believability, and bandages are one of those things. I had to model a fake fuselage from foam, wrap it with an actual bandage, shoot it to match angle and lighting and then photoshop it together with the 3D plane.
